God heard my prayer and now I am at Emusoi. I started form one and haven't gone back home since. My mother knows that I am in Emusoi but she tells my grandfather that she doesn’t know where I am.

When I completed Standard Seven (7th grade) I wanted to join form one (highschool)  but had no one to support me. I don’t know my father and haven't lived with my mother for a while. At the time, I was staying with my grandmother who wanted me to get married. My mother came and took me until I completed Standard Seven. Meanwhile, I started to try and find someone to help me.

November 25, 2007 is a day I will never forget. My grandmother told five boys wanted to take me by brute force. I ran away to the Enyorata Engai Girls school. I got into form one without a Uniform or even soap. Soon after, the boys found me. I asked one of the Sisters to help me.  The Sister said she would ask Sister Mary so I wouldn't get married.

God heard my prayer and now I am at Emusoi. I started form one and haven't gone back home since. My mother knows that I am in Emusoi but she tells my grandfather that she doesn’t know where I am. I am waiting for my Form IV results. I hope for good results and ask God to be with me.
