Teika

|
“My name is Teika Simango.
I am 23 years old.
I am a Maasai by tribe and come from
Moita
Village. After the
completion of Primary school, Sister Mary Vertucci, the
director of Emusoi Center, agreed to sponsor me for my
secondary education, so in 1999
I joined St. Joseph Secondary School for Forms I
to IV. From
there I joined
Singe
Secondary School
for Form V and VI and my A-level exams. God being on my
side I successfully performed
in my Secondary exams.
Therefore, in 2004 I applied to
Tumaini
University
where I was selected in the Faculty of Law.
My burning
ambition is to serve the pastorlist
communities including Maasai women and children which
are mostly forsaken and marginalized.
Note: Teika Simango was our first
student to go to University.
She is now beginning her last year of Law
Studies.
