TUMAINI BISMARK

When I completed Standard Seven I
wanted to join form one but had no one to support
me. I don’t know my father and hadn’t lived with my
mother for a long time. I was staying with my
grandmother when I wanted to continue to study. She
wanted me to get married. My young mother came and
took me to be with her until I completed Standard
Seven. I started to try and find someone to help
me.
There is one day in my life I
will never forget. It was November 25, 2007. Five
boys wanted to take me by force. My grandfather
told them to do this. I ran away from home up to
one school called Enyorata Engai Girls. I did an
interview and it led to my joining form one without
anything like a school uniform, soap and so forth.
But later those boys found me but did not get me. I
asked one Sister to help me so that I wouldn’t be
married. The Sister said she would ask Sister Mary
to receive me so that my parents will not take me to
get married.
God heard my prayer and I am now
at Emusoi. I started form one and I did not go home
for even a day. My mother knows that I am in Emusoi
but she tells my grandfather that she doesn’t know
where I am. I thank my God so much for this .I am
waiting for my Form IV results. I hope for good
results and ask God to be with me.
